These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our photography services and website. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We are committed to providing exceptional photography services while maintaining clear, fair, and transparent business practices. These terms ensure mutual understanding and protection for both parties.

Important: By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Service Agreement

These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Hakah-m Photography
Services include professional photography, editing, and digital delivery
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
Custom packages may have additional terms specified in writing
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion
Terms may be updated with reasonable notice to clients

Booking and Scheduling

Bookings require a signed contract and deposit payment
Event dates are secured only upon receipt of deposit
Schedule changes must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling
Peak season bookings may have different scheduling policies
Confirmation details will be provided via email

Payment Terms

50% deposit required to secure booking date
Remaining balance due before or on event day
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, mobile money, cash
Late payment may result in service suspension
Additional services requested on-site may incur extra charges
All prices are in Ugandan Shillings unless otherwise stated

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing (email or SMS)
More than 30 days: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
15-30 days: 50% refund of total package cost
Less than 15 days: No refund, but credit for future booking
Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no charge
Force majeure events may affect cancellation terms

Photography Rights and Usage

Clients receive full rights to personal use of their photos
We retain rights for portfolio, marketing, and promotional use
Commercial use by clients requires separate licensing agreement
Photo editing and retouching included in standard packages
Raw/unedited files are not typically provided
Copyright notice: All photos remain property of Hakah-m Photography

Liability and Insurance

We carry professional liability insurance for all events
Equipment backup systems ensure service continuity
Not liable for events beyond our reasonable control
Client responsible for guest behavior and venue compliance
Maximum liability limited to total contract value
Venue restrictions may affect service delivery

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
